Teams volunteering stage in rural areas and Baia Mare. Our target groups are children between kindergarten - 19 years old (highschool), and other community members (adults and elders). Volunteers are empowered to chose topics for activities, preparing and implementing the activities, with support from our staff.
This is an opportunity for you to boost your professional skills - if you are interested in education, social work, sustainable development and climate change and focus on soft skills as professional assets. The focus of this volunteering stage is organizing the Lessons of Love Workshops- a series of workshops that uses parent- child activities to strenghten the connection between parents and their children, support parents in aquiring new parenting skills and creating a safe and positive environment for child development.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
The provided accommodation is in rented apartments in Baia Mare. The apartmens are mixed gender. Each one has 3 bedrooms (bedrooms are man only or girls only), 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen with all needed utilities. Wifi included. The volunteers will receive food allowance, pocket money and the transportation for the activities.
Travel and visa reimbursement, according to the rules of the program.
Formação durante a atividade
On-arrival training provided by Greentin (including info session about ESC and Erasmus+, establishing rules for coworking, discussing activity preparation, child development training, safety training and others), weekly personal development sessions, mentoring and other support activities. Trainings provided by Romanian National Agency: on arrival training.
Perfil do participante
Interested in achieving experience in educational field, working with children and rural communities; conversation level in English; likes working with youngsters; motivated, open minded, adaptable, team player; flexible mindset; adaptable; proactive; task oriented attitude; curious and willing to know new places and new people; interest in interacting with new communities; values tolerance, acceptance, non violence, non discrimination & respects European values and principles.
