The aim of the project is to increase the social well-being of the community by helping people with greater difficulties, especially young people, through daily support activities and promoting youth participation and social inclusion. The main tasks to be carried out for this position are: * Support the communication team * Collect photos and videos for online/offline communication * Act as a “reporter” of all ADV’s activities * Collect, send and archive material, draft texts * Use graphic, editing tools, ADV’s website and social media pages * Raise awareness on and promote EU values, activities and opportunities for young people through workshop; Complete administrative back-office support: liaise with partners and beneficiaries, coordinate with the communication team, draft reports and documents * Use Office package, Google email and Drive, digital tools, EU platforms, ADV database * Support the design and implementation of EU funded projects (E+ youth exchanges and training courses, ESC team volunteering and individual mobilities) * Complete simple research and data analysis tasks * Create schedules, draft documents * Research and liaise with ADV volunteers, partners and beneficiaries * Occasionally support the accountant work * Help plan and participate in ADV meetings and events * Raise awareness on and promote EU valuess, seminars, info-sessions * Promote EU mobility initiatives and programmes (E+, ESC, DiscoverEU) * Collaborate with the dedicated section of the youth webradio Radio #parolaigiovani * Collaborate with the local Eurodesk;
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Travel to Italy and back, accommodation, local transports and food allowance/pocket money are covered by the project. Local transfers will be mainly within walkable distance, local urban services are available if necessary. The volunteer accomodation is a 3 bedrooms flat in a buiding of 4 units, at a walkable distance from Rosà city center, easy access to every facilities and amenities needed . The ESC will be given a sinlge private room, sharing bathroom. Kitchen and living areas are common The flat must be kept in a good and decent order and cleaness by the volunteers.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
All volunteers will be welcomed by a designated tutor and mentor who will assist in discussing personal skills and defining their mission. Ongoing support will be available throughout the project. Necessary tools and knowledge will be provided for specific activities, and a language course through the OLS tool is offered. An intensive Italian language course is mandatory for non-Italian-speaking volunteers during the initial weeks. GROUP MENTORING is once a week TUTORING: once a month in presence, anytime online trough Whatsapp. Youth National Agency will call the volunteers for the training at national level according with te duration of the project.
Teilnehmerprofil
The volunteer is required to be predisposed to interpersonal relations, have an openminded approach and willingness to learn. There are no specific qualification or degree requirements, though a bit of experience it is a great plus, but the intention to operate within the social sector and to support the association in all proposed activites. Knowledge of English is required and at Least a Basic level of Italian is a requirement (B1) ; motivation to improve the Italian language is important, in order to execute the different volunteering tasks and to collaborate with the other members of the team. . The candidate should be open to support the organization in other tasks which can be proposed by tutor and mentor during the period.
