Opis
Volunteer with KEAN in Athens and support solidarity, inclusion and environmental protection. Activities may include educational workshops, environmental campaigns, gardening, preparing and distributing food, creative sessions for children and young people, sports, intercultural exchanges or animal care. Responsibilities depend on community needs and the placements confirmed by KEAN. Through hands-on activities, teamwork and shared reflection, volunteers can build skills, experience Greek culture and contribute to local life. Applications are open exclusively to candidates from Türkiye who hold a valid Turkish special (green) passport and face no visa or entry restrictions throughout the volunteering period. KEAN will provide the final timetable, placement details and meeting points.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Accommodation, meals and transport arrangements must be agreed with the organisers before participation and set out in the volunteering agreement in accordance with the 2025 ESC guidelines. Athens offers metro, bus, tram and suburban rail connections for everyday travel. KEAN will confirm the activity locations and designated meeting points.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Volunteers will receive a welcome and introductory orientation from the KEAN team, covering the local setting and their responsibilities. Learning will continue through practical work, collaboration and group reflection. Depending on their placement, participants may strengthen skills in environmental awareness, educational support, community engagement, intercultural communication or animal care. Group discussions will provide opportunities to exchange experiences and ideas.
Profil uczestnika
We invite applications from motivated young people from Türkiye with a valid Turkish special (green) passport and no visa or entry restrictions for the entire volunteering period. Candidates should have an interest in solidarity, inclusion, environmental protection and intercultural learning, and be ready to take part in practical team activities. We value adaptability, dependability and respect for people from diverse backgrounds. Volunteers must follow staff instructions and behave responsibly, particularly when supporting children or people in vulnerable situations. Placement activities may include outdoor tasks, food distribution, creative workshops, sports or animal care. Participants should bring comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for walking and hands-on work.
