Descrição das atividades

The project is for young volunteer from Romania(59 days).This is a short term project which main aims is to : -) promote healthy lifestyle among local community -) provide young people with international experience -)to develop personal skills of youngsters; Main tasks of the volunteer is: -)helping children who attend swimming course. Ocasionally the volunteer will have chance to participate in other activies connected with water sports such as water polo and scuba diving. -) Helping English teacher in English lesson. In this case target group is also 7-13 years old children. -) Office work, which includes creating posters, writting a blog and social websites management. -) Collecting organic food, making gardening. The volunteer will be provided with Turkish course and help of the mentor. This project can be a chance to discover new culture, language, religion and history. Being a sport club we take part in many competitions can give them a chance to travel all over Turkey.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

The volunteers will live in a share flat with other volunteers and a middle-aged Turkish lady. They will be provided with food 3 times per day.The house is fully-equipped and the volunteers can make use of all of the stuff inside it.Our office is about 15 minutes away from the house where our volunteers are going to live so they will be provided with tram card. However everyday there is a service vehicle which brings the volunteers to their working place.

Formação durante a atividade

The volunteers will participated in trainings organized by Turkish National Agency.Those trainings are: On Arrival Training and Midterm Training. As it was mentioned before our organization organize a Turkish course for the volunteers to help them integrate with local culture.

Perfil do participante

The volunteer must be a person open to new cultures, active, initiative and ready to work with children. She/He has to be able to communicate in English. Knowledge of Turkish will be a huge advantage. Ability to swim is an asset but it's not necessary.
