Circus Schatzinsel: ESC in a circus for children in Berlin

We are looking for a volunteer who likes to work in a Circus: The Circus Schatzinsel is a social pedagogic youth culture workshop. The target group are children and youngsters from 6 years, mostly from the direct neighborhood in Berlin Kreuzberg, who make use of the free training in the various artistic disciplines. The circus Schatzinsel has a circus tent as training and performance tent and training locations. Tasks of the volunteer include: - Educational assistance of children and youth during their artistic training (developing a program; rehearsals and performances) - Assistance during events; holiday Workshops - Support of organization, planning and structuring of the international Exchange - Assistance in technical areas: stage decoration, tailoring and costume design - The volunteer's role is based on the ESC-Charta.If you are interested, send CV, motivation letter, photo to evs.berlin.applications@ijgd.de. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

The project is part of a bigger project coordinated by the German volunteering organisation "ijgd" with all together 18-20 volunteers in different social projects in Berlin. The European volunteers live in different shared flats together (everyone has an own room, kitchen and bathroom will be shared). So there is a group of European Volunteers in different social projects. It also includes the travel budget to and from Berlin, free public transport in Berlin, language course, etc.

Formação durante a atividade

The training during the voluntary service includes 2 ESC seminars (organised by the German National Agency), meetings with the fellow volunteers, workshops, etc.
