*PLEASE apply by writing to susanne.sparr@aha.or.at, with your CV and Motivation Letter!!* Due to an early termination of another person, we are looking for a spontaneous volunteer!! :) You'll work in the area Gastronomy, with a small farm shop. You will work along with our employees and people with intellectual disabilities and behaviour problems. You will be encouraged and accompanied to support people to fulfil tasks by themselves, in order for them to realize their potential and abilities. Your work will be supported by our professional employees. You're free to create and implement own ideas. You will have a varied role and gain invaluable experience and skills for working with people with intellectual disabilities and behaviour problems. On that course you will learn a lot about their ways of living as well as diversity and (dis-)ability topics in society. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

The volunteer will live in house next to the organisation with the other volunteers. S*He will have a room on her/his own and share a bathroom and kitchen with others. During the week he/she will get her lunch in the HO. In the morning, evening and at weekend the volunteer(s) should cook by themselves. For this the volunteer will get extra food money :) The infrastructure with trains and buses is easy and quick and s/he will probably also have a bicycle at his/her disposal. The volunteer will receive a ticket for free use of any public transport in the whole region of Vorarlberg & a bike!

Formação durante a atividade

The volunteer will have following trainings and opportunities; - On-arrival Training; organised by the NA Austria - Midterm-Meeting; organised by the NA Austria - German course; organised by the supporting/coordinating organisation - Regular evaluation meetings together with the supporting/coordinating organisation - Regular meetings with her/his mentor in the hosting organisation

Perfil do participante

We're looking for open minded people who want to collect a lot of experiences in the daily work with people with intellectual disabilities and behaviour problems. Our small gastronomy team is very diverse, international and heartily. We cook, serve and take care of our small farm whop. We expect that the volunteer brings high motivation for the work, especially for the work with people with disabilities. Moreover the volunteer should have a stable/reflected personality so that they are able to encouraged and accompany people with disabilities, to realize their potential and abilities.
