We are looking for volunteers with the European Solidarity Corps program! We are starting our new strategic long-term plan and YOU can be part of it! Help us achieve part of our vision and work together to improve the local community of Baia Mare, Romania. Work towards: 1. Creating an open and tolerant society 2. Developing skills needed for young people in the upcoming European job market .

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Accommodation in rented flats. All utilities and rent payed! Volunteers receive 150 E per month as food money. Local transportation for activities can be reimbursed. International travel expenses are also reimbursed up to a limit - green travel needed! Pocket money (3 E per day) is provided!

Formação durante a atividade

The volunteers are supported by an organisation from their home country with the role of sending/support organisation. We provide logistic support in the activities. The volunteers take part in On Arrival Training and Mid Term, organized nationally (these may be done online due to covid restrictions). Apart from this, the volunteers have Romanian online language lessons included in their schedule. They will undergo short workshops and trainings on several topics to assist them in implementing their activities. All this will be done using non formal education methods to work.

Perfil do participante

responsible persons with open mind. Communicative. friendly and positive attitude. interest in the topic of the project: either in activity 1 or 2, or in both. able to follow an activity plan, and to prepare and lead an activity. comfortable with working with all age groups (with the focus of young people). between 18 and 30 years of age. serious and motivated persons, ready to get actively involved in the local community, with all the challenges that the pandemic brings. national of any EU state. good knowledge of English BUT ready to learn a new language (Romanian).
