ESC 8 months in Palermo_project management activities

MAPPING SOLIDARITY is a 8 months European Solidarity Corps project, addressed to young people coming from different countries. The project involves young volunteers in the preparation, development and implementation of non-formal educational activities and ICT skills on different topics for young people implemented by CESIE. The volunteer will be involved also in project management of transnational projects (desks researches; development of training programme and educational activities for different target groups; participation in project meetings, etc.) and project writing (analysis of the funding programmes and the specific call; development and writing of the project idea). We are looking for volunteers to start the project from November 2022 to June 2023.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

CESIE will provide accommodation for all the ESC volunteers. They will be hosted in an apartment located in a city center in Palermo and they will share the room with another volunteer of the same gender. The costs of meals are covered by CESIE. Most of the local organisations that volunteers will implement their activities are located in the city center. In the case of far distances, CESIE will cover the costs for public transportation.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

Upon their arrival, each volunteer will take part in an on-arrival training provided by CESIE in Palermo. Volunteers participating in the long-term volunteering service will take part in an on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation provided by Italian National Agency. Moreover, volunteers will also have the opportunities to participate in a mid-term evaluation with CESIE. They will also have the opportunity to attend an online linguistic course and in case 40 hours of optional Italian language course in Palermo at the Italian language institute.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

18 -30 years old - a basic level of English, strong motivation and interest to work in a team with the different target groups (children, migrants, disable adults etc..); basic experiences or motivation in working with minors and young people; availability for the whole period; knowledge of Italian preferred (level B1).
