The European volunteer will be associated with the pedagogical and educational team of the Pier-Giorgio Frassati school. He/she will contribute to the implementation of various activities : - Participate in the life of the school, - Co-intervention in the classes, supported by the teachers and teachers specialised in learning difficulties: • Reformulate instructions for students • Accompany and refocus students on their tasks • Accompany groups of students on work 'islands' (small group work) - Co-intervention during break times with the educator (recess / half-board): animation of playful, educational activities. - Accompaniment during school outings - Depending on the skills and abilities of the volunteer, he/she can work with the teachers on their class themes: • Arts • Music • Sports • Ecology (educational garden) • Digital (use of tablets etc.) - Help with homework in conjunction with the educator - Co-leading language classes in conjunction with the English teacher

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

Accommodation: Accommodation is located in a young worker’s home in Versailles. You will have your own private flat. Within the building, you will have access to a common area with other young people. Transportation: Le Vésinet station (RER A) - Direction Paris

Formazione durante l'attività

- Formation of the European Solidarity Corps - Training in methodology and organization of workshops in civic education and international solidarity - Participation in training courses for school professionals (educators, trainers and teachers)

Profilo del partecipante

- We are looking for a young volunteer who is willing to work with young children with complex profiles. - Motivated, dynamic volunteer who likes to work in a team and who is not afraid to propose ideas. - This mission is particularly adapted to young people who want to open up to others and human relations, and discover the social and teaching professions. - The volunteer who will be involved in this mission should have a certain ability to listen and if possible should also have skills in animation and school support.
