Future Kindergartens of Europe 2 project in Hungary

We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join our approved EVS project in Debrecen, working with children in traditional kindergartens. There will be 6 volunteers from different countries (Portugal, France, Romania, Germany, Spain, and Italy) in the same project. They will be assisting in day-to-day activities of kindergartens under professional supervision. In these activities, volunteers can try their existing skills, creativity in music and handicrafts, and improve them. We aim to create awareness and openness towards other people and other cultures with creative activities, a healthy lifestyle, and intercultural media. Volunteers will also be involved in the activities of Világjáró Önkéntes in which they can get acquainted with the Erasmus + Program and have the opportunity to develop their ideas within personal projects. They will have the chance to go to schools and present the EVS as well as share their own country and culture.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Accommodation and food will be provided. The volunteers will share equipped rooms with 2-3 separate beds in a university dormitory with other local and international students. Internet connection, shared kitchen with all equipment, showers and clothes dryer will also be available. Volunteers will organize the food themselves for the weekends (for that purpose they get a lump sum of money monthly). During weekdays, they get preordered meals from a restaurant in the city center. We facilitate their local transportation by buying monthly bus tickets.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

During their voluntary service, on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation are included as well as the opportunity to take Hungarian language classes in the official online platform and a language school in Debrecen.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

Candidates applying for this EVS should meet the following requirements: - PORTUGUESE or ITALIAN or ROMANIAN or FRENCH nationality -Age between 18-30; -Available for the whole duration of the volunteering period and pre-departure training; -Interest in the work with children and youth or social work in general; -Creative - interested in creating handicrafts, planning&organizing activities, sharing own culture; -Basic English knowledge is a must; -Dedicated, open-minded, communicative and resourceful; -Patient, flexible, easy-going; -Able to work in a team.
