Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers stay in fully furnished shared flats alongside other volunteers, equipped with basic kitchen amenities. Insurance through Henner. Volunteers receive a daily pocket allowance of 6 Euros and a monthly food stipend of 150 Euros, allowing them the flexibility to arrange their meals. They also receive a monthly public transportation ticket. Subventions for volunteering efforts are distributed on the 15th of every month via bank transfer.Travel costs to Duisburg from the volunteer's home country and back are covered.
Training during the activity
During your stay in Germany, you will have to attend training organized by the National Agency. You will learn and improve the following skills Project Management Skills, social media management, Writing skills, Organising Events, Communication skills, organising workshops, Cultural Competence, Research and Data Analysis, Environmental Advocacy, Youth workshop facilitation
Participant profile
Young people from the European Union member state countries residing outside Germany and nearby countries; Be between 18 to 30 years old on the starting date of the mobility; Be a good communicator, have responsibility and proactivity, and be interested in the European Solidarity Corps programme and so recognize the value of being part of a project like this one; Fluent in written and spoken English Capacity of working in a team as well as independently Comfortable working in a multicultural environment A priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities
