SUMMERCAMP for POLISH volunteers

The project will involve 2 volunteers from the first week of June 2019 untill the middle of September 2019 (3 months). The main activities that volunteers will support will be: Reception of children, Workshops (painting, clay processing, theater, music, languages, photography,..), Physical activity, Outputs and special events; every year the coordinator of the summercamp decide a theme to be dealt with children (feelings, family, integration,..) so as to have a guiding thread of the path and every week the activities are planned. The volunteer will support activities linked to preventing distress and promoting well-being (i.e. workshops art, sport, culture, health, intercultural workshop), and foster games, excursions, specific courses. They can also support the educators with children and youngsters with handicap or fewer opportunities, taking after them through specific educational actions.

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

The volunteers will be hosted in a flat provided by cooperative Alce Nero and settled in Mantova. The flat has double bedrooms, a kitchen facilities, a living room, a bathroom with two shower, wi-fi and washing machine. They will share the flat with volunteers engaged in others projects. The rule’s flat will be presented on arrival.The volunteers can go to work on foot, by byke or by bus (payed by Alce Nero), while travel costs for free time will be on charge of the volunteers.

Formazione durante l'attività

During the project the volunteers will attend the ON ARRIVAL training manage by National Agency and all supervision meeting manage by Cooperative Alce Nero.

Profilo del partecipante

The volunteers would be: POLISH nationality intererested into activities flexible and extroverted and smart interested and sensitive towards educational and social issues able to speak a little bit of italian language
