EVS IN SOUTH OF FRANCE FOR VOLUNTEER FROM SPAIN AND CROATIA

Περιγραφή της δραστηριότητας

Initiative et Developpement Citoyen is a non-profite cooperative based in a small village in the south of France. Its main activities include an ecologic campsite, open to tourists from April to October, environmental education activities, organic gardening, international youth mobility activities, such as youth exchanges and European Voluntary Service, workcamps, green building, events for local community and much more. It is situated in a very rural area with little connections to closest city (Carcassonne), 18km away from the campsite. he volunteer will support the team on different profiles, from the most easy who can participate and help in everything to the most specialize on communication, promotion, organization of events and entertainment, logistics, setting up and animation of seminars and Workcamp, discovery of environmental awareness and preservation of green spaces etc. Each activitie will be given according to the volunteers goal, which will be setup at arrival.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Accommodation, food and transport will be provided to each volunteer by IDC. The cooperative is based in an ecological camping and you will be hosted in the mobile homes. The general shopping for all the volunteer team will be done twice a month by a volunteer who is interested and responsable in purchasing. IDC, moreover, will provide a car. The volunteers can use to go to the nearest city (Carcassonne).

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

The volunteer will have the occasion to take part in all the training and workshops IDC organizes such as eco building construction, gardening, cooking course etc..

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

The volunteers will be polyvalent in all the activities and they will have an important supporting role: - Taking care of the green spaces, watering plants, maintaining trees and vegetable garden. (2 times per week) - Participation in daily life with the cleaning of the common showers area and cooking for everyone; - Collaboration on party events and green buildings conducted by the structure projects; - Helping to create , manage and distribute information on the organisation. -Taking photos and videos -Fixing bikes -Painitng and renovate wood -Activities with children
