CarnIVale - Project in Romania

Περιγραφή της δραστηριότητας

The project ”CarnIVale” is a mobility for youth project, by volunteering, in which 5 volunteers prepare and implement methods of non formal education in the town of Baia Mare for 5 months. Methodes are: Delivering Life, Photo Voice, Living Library, Storytelling, Open Space (and others more!) The themes associated to all the above mentioned methods will be chosen by the volunteers, to be integrated in the implementation of the non-formal methods. They will be in coherence with our NGOs specific, and will highlight our needs and objectives at T4UTH. These are: volunteering, human rights, gender equality and equality of opportunities, refugee crisis, minorities, multiculturalism, peace and education.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Accommodation - volunteers will live in rented flats, all together, they will manage the upkeep of the flat, cleaning and they will receive a monthly food and pocket money allowance! The utilities and rent of the flats is paid by the Team for Youth Association. Transport to, and from the hosting town (Baia Mare) is also reimbursed based on distance bands! Its basically almost free! All the costs of project are covered trough original receipts and invoices.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

Language training and On Arrival Training. Also each method will have a training. Team-buildings, work safety, methods, city hunt and public events are also included.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

Basic knowledge in English. Citizenship or residency from the following EU countries: Portugal and Poland. (1 vol/country only!) Able to follow a program and work with deadlines. Interested in the project topics, and in non formal education. Able to uphold the values of the organisation and the local community. A good ”ambassador” for his/her culture! Kind and motivated to learn!
