Are you sure?

Are you sure?
You want it? To try yourself in it?
Step out of your safe shore?
To see your mother wit?

You think it's crazy
You ask: "What is supposed to be?"
You ask: "How was it? Hazy?
Should I climb up the tree?"

I say: "At first it was uneasy
Despite the greatest project team
To cope with place, new language, faces
Oh, my mind was busy!
Extremely far to a daydream"

But people...they are amazing,
So many cultures in one group,
You ask: "Can you rephrase it?"
I say: "I can, but someday in the book"

We did one thing - the work together,
We saw each other every day.
Group life at home - not always sunny weather
Still unforgettable and made me wanna stay.

You say: "But why a year, not just a month? Isn't it to long?"
If you understood the whole meaning of the project in five hours, it is wrong.
You need to see all the exposition
To understand the details of your mission
Who is a volunteer at all.

We worked with people - elderly and children overall.
Were helping with kids homework, with finding a right goal
With cooking, drawing, reading, playing not only football.
We sang, we swam, we played a role,
We built huge castles free-for-all
And learned behavior control
Became a family we all

I thought I taught them
Things I know,
But I was taught by them
You know?

"I want to know what else is known!"
I wish to tell you more what is behind those doors,
You need to open them alone
And then it will be yours
As active as a cyclone
