Mersin University, founded in 1992, has currently 16 faculties,7 schools,12 vocational schools,5 institutes,1 music academy and 34 research centers with its 1762 academic and 3528 administrative staff and aims at meeting the needs and expectations of students and society by providing high-quality education and practices in almost every discipline. With the vision to become a university that is integrated with education,technology and art at national and international level, the university offers many social activities in well-prepared program to promote these educational activities. Erasmus+ and Youth program has been studied under the auspieces of International Relations and Projects Office which is located at Yenisehir Campus of Mersin University in city center. The office represents our university in national and international platforms and providing cooperation between national and international institutions and our university in the field of education, running national and international exchange programs for the staff and students. Furthermore, it aims to develop national and international projects and European research and technologhy development programmes for the students and academic staff. Several EU funded projects were carried out successfully in cooperation with partners from EU countries.The Erasmus Office has been into Erasmus programme since 2003 and used approximately € 3,266,733 and sent nearly 2000 students and 200 university staff abroad since 2015.
