"Fekete Sereg" Youth Association is located in the rural area. We are working with youth workers and young people with fewer opportunities. We are working with Roma minorities in Hungary. “Fekete Sereg” Youth Association was founded in 1997. We live in the Hungarian countryside in a village of Nagyvázsony (1800 inhabitants). We usually organize local, departmental, regional, national, and international (EuroMed, Latin American region also) events, trainings, youth exchanges, short study visits, and seminars... Due to our wide national, European and worldwide connections, partners and networks, we try to provide the possibility for young people and youth workers to get to know different cultures, people with the subvention of the Erasmus +. We usually organize local, regional, national, international events, trainings, youth exchanges, study visits, seminars. Fekete Sereg is an accredited European Voluntary Service hosting, sending and coordinating association. since 2006. By this way of working, we not only try to give them an international experience but we aim to facilitate their tolerance and abolish all kinds of discrimination and prejudices they can have. We regularly cooperate in formal and non-formal networks on a national level.
Our international partners come from all around Europe and we have a very valuable network of partners in the Mediterranean, African, Asian and South American region. Our organization is a member of the national network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. We are a member of Rückenwind Network from 2008. From 2008 our organization started to work in a Grundtvig Lifelong Learning Programme in Partnership Project. In 2009 and in 2013 and Fekete Sereg coordinated a Youth in the World project between Europe and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay in 2013 Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay) and we have the opportunity to participate in a project with Africa (Senegal, Camreoon, Kenya) and Asia (India, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand). In 2017 and 2018 we coordinated a Key Action 2 project in Capacity Building Activity project with Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia. From 2010 we started to work with Lifelong Learning Leonardo Partnership Programme as well. In 2012 we started to work in a Lifelong Learning Grundtvig Senior Volunteering Programme. We hosted 12 senior volunteers from United Kingdom in 2012 and in 2014 we sent also 12 Hungarian to United Kingdom for 3 weeks. We hosted in September 2014 also 5 senior volunters from United Kingdom and in July 2015 1 senior volunteer.

Our mission is to give the youth (13-30 years old) of the village possibilities to spend their free time by doing useful activities, to support bottom up initiatives of the young living in the village.
We have a local youth center. We using open youth work method in our youth center. We are open every day Monday to Friday 13:00-19:00 since 1999!!
We are experienced in the following:
- Working in rural area with young people with fewer opportunity
- Operating community youth center with youth workers and EVS volunteers and ESC
- Sending/Hosting expert in European Voluntary Service and we started to work with ESC
- Experience in volunteerism (international, local level) and we started to work with ESC
- Large network in European – Mediterranean, Africa, Latin American and Asia region
- Experience working in international/intercontinental teams

Affiliations:
The Fekete Sereg founded in 1997, in Nagyvázsony (1800 inhabitants) in Hungary. The association’s duty is to represent the interest of the young living in the village at regional, national and international level. The target groups in our association are diverse: we have students, unemployed people, minorities (roma), disadvantaged and handicapped people etc.
