aha – Jugendinformationszentrum Vorarlberg is a youth information centre offering up-to-date information about matters concerning young people. It is situated in the province of Vorarlberg, the most western region of Austria and was established in 1992. It currently operates with three regional centres in the cities Dornbirn, Bregenz and Bludenz. Information is provided on education and training, employment, travel, active citizenship, leisure time activities, legal questions, health, politics, etc. The main target group are young people between 13 and 30 years old. The centre also coordinates the regional activities of the programmes "Erasmus+: Youth in Action" and "European Solidarity Corps" (coordinating volunteering hosting projects, volunteering sending and hosting organisation, informing youth organisations on European funding opportunities). In close cooperation with the local youth organisations as well as the youth departments of the local communities and the regional government, our organisation also works as an initiator, coordinator and supporting agency for regional and international projects (regional Youth Card, international projects, youth participation etc.).
