Middelaldercentret is an open air museum which disseminates the history of the 1400's. Middelaldercentret consists of a market town as it would have looked like in the 1400's. The facilitators reenact the Middle Ages as were they people living during this period. The facilitators consist of permanent staff and a great number of volunteers.

The purpose of Middelaldercentret is to disseminate the history and spread out awareness and understanding of the Middle Ages of the Scandinavian countries in an authentic way.
The staff disseminates in Middle Ages suits and demonstrate their different crafts. Further they do different activities related to the Middle Ages. Middelaldercentret is located in Nykøbing Faster in Denmark and is a private institution. The target group is school classes, tourists and locals who wants to learn more about the Middle Ages.
