All-Ukrainian Union of Youth NGOs “Young Men’s Christian Association of Ukraine” – YMCA Ukraine was registered in 2007 to promote harmonious physical, intellectual and spiritual development. Today YMCA Ukraine is represented in 16 regions of Ukraine with 17 local organisations.
YMCA Ukraine is a full member of the YMCA Europe since 2002, and an associate member of the YMCA World Alliance.
The main programs are leadership development, camps for youth and children, tensing, social programs, international exchanges, programs that develop soft skills and employability, and psychological training.
According to the YMCA Development Strategy 2024-2025, the mission of YMCA Ukraine is harmonious development of the spirit, mind, body of young people and promoting their social activism for the positive transformation of society.
YMCA Ukraine responds to the challenges society faces, including the war time in the country, and creates safe spaces for the development of youth in an atmosphere of peace and justice based on YMCA values. The YMCA Ukraine is a strong team of leaders and volunteers, working on the principles of transparency, democracy and openness, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
