Beschreibung der Einrichtung

The Fundação Padre Tobias is an institution that aims to promote social responses to the community where it is inserted, in particular with child, youth and old people intervening in an integrated and personalized way.
The social responses for the younger ones are carried out through Day care and Kindergarten, with the participation of 334 children aged 4 months to 6 years. Children can stay from 7 am to 7 pm, having three meals daily. During the day perform various activities defined by the Pedagogical Council.
For seniors, the Foundation supports 68 users in Nursing Home, 27 in Day Care Centre and 51 in Home Support.
The Fundação Padre Tobias also responses for the Community Support through Social Canteen, providing 6 daily meals to 3 people, RSI working with 132 processes, POAPMC (Operational Programme to Support the Most Deprived) helping 175 people, USBC (Senior University of the Municipality of Benavente), working with 320 students, International House Padre Tobias for the ESC (European Solidarity Corps) projects with the access to 3 volunteers, and Second Chance School responding to early dropout from education.
Recently Fundação Padre Tobias also responsible himself for the project of AEC (Curricular Enrichment Activities) for students of the 1st cycle of education, with ages between 6 and 10.
