Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The Butterbrot Childcare Center is a German-Spanish bilingual day care administrated by the participating families, under the oversight of the city of Vienna. The center tends to 14 children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old. Moreover, the center has a multilingual background, as some of the participating families have international heritage. The daily activities are conducted mainly bilingually (focused on Spanish) but multilingualism is a key aspect of the families who participate in our project. We want our children to cherish their languages and diverse backgrounds.
Our philosophy is to include and enable all members of our community, therefore we are interested in volunteers with heterogenic cultural/language background. We want to offer young people, who don´t have the economic privilege the opportunity to have the experience of working abroad and to meet people from all over the world in our small cordial community.
