Youth Discovery Ventures (YDV) offers alternative education and leadership opportunities to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds providing them with experiences they would not gain in their every day life.

YDV's mission is: To empower young people to create change and live morally, ethically and responsibly.

YDV's vision is: To inspire young people to become "something more than ordinary" through innovative participation projects that engage young people in a journey of learning and discovery.

We have six main strands to the work we do:

Community events
Leadership & Active Citizenship programmes
Team-building workshops
Youth Enterprise
Targeted Youth Work
International exchanges.

YDV's main target groups are young people, aged 13-30, and our focus in the UK is within the north of England and specifically South Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
