Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The association La Toupie, created in October 2014 is an association law 1901, approved Social Center since December 2015. It is located in the Lorraine region, in the Department of the Vosges, on the Community of Communes Terres d'Eau (45 municipalities, 18222 inhabitants.)

The Social Center has 3 poles:

- The youth center, which includes a Youth Welcome Center (14-17 years old, opened since May 2015), a CLAS (Local Contract of Support for Schooling, aimed at middle school students from 12 to 14 years old, opened since September 2017), a PIJ (Youth Information Point, and Leisure Home (12-18 years old, open during school holidays).
The objectives of the youth cluster are:
- create favorable conditions for the reception of young people on the territory,
- to make young people and parents aware of health prevention, especially in the framework of Educ Ta Santé
- promote the development and autonomy of young people through the participation and co-construction of collective and civic actions aimed at emancipation.

- The family center, which aims to promote education and support for parenthood by supporting and valuing families in their everyday educational role.

-The global animation pole of the territory, which consists of organizing or participating in various events on the territory (intercultural day, unusual weekend, spring poets, carnival ...)

These 3 poles work around 5 axes defined in the social project (see attached document):

- A new look on youth
- Education and support for parenthood
- Organize reception and information
- Listening to the inhabitants
- Associative life and human resources management
