Beschreibung der Einrichtung

We are a non-governmental organisation operating since 1990 which brings together people with disabilities, their carers and friends.
We carry out unique in the region of south-eastern Poland professional activities in the field of integrated rehabilitation, education and social support of people with disabilities, in particular cerebral palsy.
In line with our mission, we create the next missing elements in the support system to equalise opportunities for people with disabilities. Our activities are:
- education,
- occupational therapy for people with disabilities,
- independent living training for people with disabilities,
- supported employment,
- sports for people with disabilities,
- disability training,
- assistant support,
- respite care
-international cooperation,
- development of the European Voluntary Service.
The aim of integrated improvement is to achieve autonomy for the person with disability in his/her personal and social life, full participation in public life and support for his/her family. In line with the Strategy for People with Disabilities, the Board of the Association has prioritised activities for independent living. An Assisted Living Complex was separated from the structures of the Association. The organisation of a disability assistant service and respite care for parents has been given top priority. We want volunteers from Europe to continue to be involved and to create these activities together with us.
