Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Le Relais is a residential home for children aged 3 to 18.The mission of the house is to "de-institutionalise" the life of the children and to prepare the adolescents to live independently, through active participation in the social life of the village. Its main objectives are to give these children in difficulty an autonomous living environment that they will one day have outside the institution, in order to allow their integration into society. They also strive to provide the children with a warm and family-like environment, where their needs are taken care of and where they can flourish.
A large part of their work is the follow-up of the families in order to use the resources of the family environment.
Le Relais is part of a larger non-profit organisation, La Maison Heureuse, and has been hosting volunteers for a number of years, although there has not been an EVS/CSE volunteer every year.
