The Sevilla Acoge Foundation, created in 1985, intervenes in the aid, promotion and social and labour integration of immigrants. It is one of the first initiatives specialized in immigration and interculturality that was born in Spain to act in the field of immigration. She was the creator and promoter of the Acoge movement, spread throughout Spain. She is currently the patron of the CEPAIM Foundation, which intervenes on migration issues throughout Spain. It is part of national and transnational networks.
The programs, projects and actions of Sevilla Acoge are financed through grants from official and private organizations and with private donations. Sevilla Acoge promotes the integration of immigrants and their families, in order for them to become full members of society. It also works with the native population, so that both get to know each other and enrich each other, respecting the identity of each party. It is a non-profit NGO, of a solidarity and altruistic nature and independent of any political, trade union or religious organization or institution. From its birth, Sevilla Acoge understood volunteering as a constituent instrument of its action, which is reflected in the integration of volunteers in the work team, and in their participation in the different services.



La Fundación Sevilla Acoge, creada en 1985, interviene en la ayuda, promoción e integración social y laboral de las personas inmigrantes. Es una de las primeras iniciativas especializadas en inmigración e interculturalidad que nace en España para actuar en el ámbito de la inmigración. Fue la creadora e impulsora del movimiento Acoge, extendido a toda España, y actualmente patrona de la Fundación CEPAIM, que interviene en temática migratoria en toda España. Forma parte de redes nacionales y trasnacionales.
Los programas, proyectos y acciones de Sevilla Acoge se financian mediante subvenciones de organismos oficiales y privados y con donaciones particulares. Sevilla Acoge promueve la integración de las personas inmigrantes y sus familias para que sean miembros de pleno derecho de la sociedad. También actúa con la población autóctona para que, desde el respeto a la identidad de cada parte, ambas se conozcan y enriquezcan. Es una ONG sin ánimo de lucro, de carácter solidario y altruista e independiente de toda organización o institución política, sindical o religiosa. Es pluralista y no confesional. Desde su inicio, Sevilla Acoge entendió el voluntariado como un instrumento constituyente de su acción, lo que se refleja en la integración de voluntarios y voluntarias en el equipo de trabajo, así como su participación en los diferentes servicios.
