Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

NGO Noored Maailma is a non-profit organization based in Tartu, Estonia. Since 2016 we have been actively involved in Erasmus+ programme working as a coordinating organisation and a link between the youth and local institutions. Our mission is to create valuable opportunities for the benefit of young people and enable them to accomplish themselves through international youth mobility projects. For that reason, we have continuously extended our network of reliable partner organisations on local and international level and will continue to do so to widen the possibilities for future projects. Throughout the years we have been able to have an increasing positive impact on young people and on the local community in terms of the number of people engaged as well the scale and quality of the projects.

We are fortunate to be collaborating with notable Tartu AHHAA Science Centre an interactive centre that aims to introduce science to everyone and encourages learning through the joy of discovery which NGO Noored Maailma can also strongly relate to. Working together on incorporating Erasmus+ programme in it’s establishment many different opportunities have been created for young people to take part in science communication. Young people are able to apply themselves in vibrant working environment carrying out science based activities using „hands-on“ approach- learning by doing. New skills and competences are being built up through practical experiences relevant in today’s labour market such as communicating in foreign languages, leadership skills and creativity.

Significant to our organization are also topics like education in terms of lifelong learning, youth employability as well environmental awareness. Additionally we are making our efforts to promote youth mobility activities and encourage young people to take part in local and international youth projects.

Our activities include:
- WIthin Erasmus+ programme: organising youth mobility activities such as Youth Exchanges and Training Course
- Within European Solidarity Corps programme: organising Volunteering projects, Traineeships & Jobs programmes
- Contributing to the annual Researchers’ Night Festival in collaboration with AHHAA Science Centre
- Promoting youth mobility and facilitating youth employability
- Networking to establishing valuable partnerships
- Taking part in conferences, seminars, training activities locally and abroad
