Cur síos ar an eagraíocht

Our Deaf Association is called the „Gehörlosenverband München und Umland e.V.“. We represent the interests of the deaf in and around Munich, but our acitivities go far beyond the borders of Munich. Our Deaf Center with 25 deaf and hearing employees is a point of contact and a meeting point for deaf and hearing people. We organize many different events and offer various services, e.g. a sign language school, a telephone relay service, a social service, and an operator service for sign language interpreters. We are involved in the fields of education, culture and politics, carry out projects, promote voluntary work and are well networked with other organizations at national and international level.
