Cultura 100 Fronteiras is a cultural non-profit association officially founded in 2014. However, we are used to make our won activities and to take part in projects at European level since 2010. Our goal is to use and disseminate all manifestations of popular culture as means of social inclusion, to promote citizenship and intercultural dialogue. Currently, we have about 30 members, including children, youth, adults and seniors who attend our regular activities and participate in events, workshops, summer camps and other specific activities. Our goal is the development of capoeira, urban art, folk dances and music as tools for intercultural dialogue and promoting tolerance. To achieve that goal we have a team of trainers and mentors that also help with the disclosure of our activities and projects. Regarding our target group, we should mention that we work in a specific context: the young population of immigrant origin (Brazilian and African descent), with economic or social obstacles, unemployed youth or early school leavers.Cultura 100 Fronteira has also strategic partnerships with public organizations, such as Junta de Freguesia de Santa Clara, Câmara Municipal da Amadora, Junta de Freguesia de Benfica e Junta de freguesia de Carnide.
