Descrição da organização

Nærmiljøsentralen (Sentralen) is a volunteer center since 1991. We have a central role in the coordination work with the
public and voluntary teams / organizations.
Sentralen is owned by the municipally, but we have our own board.
Sentralen organises several meeting places and various activities in the municipality, but in this project, we will
concentrate on those in the local centre. There, teams and organizations collaborate with Sentralen, the teams’
volunteers with the activities that the centre coordinates and organizes. The activities can be anything from self-produced
to hired actors on the cultural front. For example Concerts.
Ad hoc groups help with facilitation and content of measures. We have these groups because we want to be rooted in the
local environment, and that the members of these groups know what the individual age groups want in terms of measures
and activities.
Purpose
• Sentralen (central) are going to be open to anyone who wishes to participate in voluntary activity.
• Initiate activities that strengthen the local community in the municipality
• Provide services on a voluntary basis
• Establish contact across generations and cultures
• Be a resource centre for voluntary activity in the municipality
• Collaborate with teams and organizations
The centre will be a supplement to already existing activity; the activity comes in addition to, and not in place of.

  • Esta organização é titular de um Selo de Qualidade do Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade, que certifica que a organização tem capacidade para levar a cabo projetos em conformidade com os princípios e objetivos do Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade.
