Interregional public organisation “«Jugendring der Russlanddeutschen” (JDR) has existed since
1997 and unites 51 youth public organisations of Russian Germans in 35 regions of Russia. The
main mission of organisation is the preservation and development of the German language, culture,
traditions and history of the Russian Germans.
The aims of organisation are:
To unite young Russian Germans; to generate and develop a civil and ethnical identity; to support
young initiatives; to develop an international young co-operation.
Target group of organisation is young people who are interested in German language and culture.
The main projects carried out by the JDR are listed below.
