The main aims of the Center for Community Mobilization and Support NGO is to promote the development of civil society organizations, to support participatory management processes, balanced socio-economic development, support the development of cultural life in community, to contribute to the deepening of the rule of law and application therefore, to promote the application of new technologies in agricultural and non-agricultural economy , to promote youth activities and initiatives and enhanced cooperation, to support the non-formal education of citizens through seminars, trainings, development of practical skills, etc. CCMS NGO supports youth international cooperation and intercultural dialogue, subserves the environmental protection, supports the quality of services provided by the government and municipal institutions. The mission of the CCMS NGO is to support community development, civic participation and youth initiative. CCMS NGO implements different projects focused on the youth voluntary movement, non-formal education, healthy lifestyle, local self-governing bodies and advocacy, protection of the rights of children and young people, environmental protection etc.
CCMS NGO is based in community-active youth groups and now implements programs in local, regional and national levels. It has established active groups in the communities and has implemented projects directed at capacity building.
The CCMS cooperates with international and local organizations and foundations and is a member of various networks and part of coalition founders. One of the main partners of CCMS is World Vision Armenia.

The community development activities include:

-identifying the community and involving inhabitants in the protection of their own interests. The organization implements assessment of needs in the mentioned fields in all communities once a year. Then based on the results, special activities are designing, which also promote the inhabitants’active participation and awareness raising.
-conducting focus group discussions in different groups which provide the following services: health, education and pre-school education in all the communities. At the same time providing training on capacity building for service providers and awareness raising for several recipients
-organizing round-table discussions with decision-makers from authorities and community social worker and discussing community problems and law enforcement.


The organization has reached community development in the following aspects:

-Improved services in communities
-An educated school board of parents and students/pupils, increasing their role
-Community development, budget transparency, citizens’ active participation in the process
-Repairing schools, kindergartens, health posts, building water pipelines, primary schools’ creation, providing property and equipment, etc.
Establishment and maintenance of sewage systems in the communities
-creation of electronic libraries in schools
-Organizing various cultural events and groups, repairing cultural centers
-Skills development for the youth through involvement in non-formal education and different community and civil development projects
-Thanks to the EVS project more than 120 young people improved their English and other languages
-In national levels, the proposals made by the advocacy activities have been resumed by the new laws, decrees, and regulations
