We offer special individual development for European volunteers in cultural education with children, young people and adults. They can work as assistants in different performance groups and are in contact with kids and young people. The artists and mentors will help them into the pedagogical process of theater making and of workshops in fine arts. The volunteers can participate in the whole process of acting, stage building, audio and light composition, the act of finding acting scenes, dramaturgic development, and the costumes. In fine arts they learn how to organize an art exhibition (from talking to the artist, hanging the paintings/instalations and publicity). They can learn to organize public performances or exhibitions inclusive PR-works. So they will be enabled to discover their competences and personal identity. The volunteers will learn something about the internal management of the house and our organization and they will be involved into the communication with the artists, the management, the parents and the children and young people. They will extend their social, artistic, inter-cultural and language abilities. All our classes and courses are free to join in, but mainly they will work with their artistic mentors. We encourage the volunteers to start at the end of the year their own project with our or European young people. We will help them in organization, calculation, subject finding of European projects. We will support them in this process. Our long term objectives are: to understand cultural events, learning forms in the theater and fine art pedagogic. They can develop their individual competences during the ESC Project.

Wir bieten eine spezielle individuelle Entwicklung für europäische Freiwillige in der kulturellen Bildung mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen. Sie können bei uns als Assistent*innen in verschiedenen Gruppen arbeiten und stehen in Kontakt mit Kindern und Jugendlichen. Die Künstler*innen und Mentor*innen unterstützen sie im pädagogischen Prozess des Theatermachens und in den Workshops und Kursen in der Bildenden Kunst. Die Freiwilligen können am gesamten Prozess des Schauspielens, des Bühnenbaus, der Audio- und Lichtkomposition, des Findens von Schauspielszenen, der dramaturgischen Entwicklung und der Kostüme teilnehmen. In der Bildenden Kunst lernen sie, wie man eine Kunstausstellung organisiert (vom Gespräch mit dem/der Künstler*in, über das Aufhängen der Bilder / Installationen bis hin zur Werbung). Sie können lernen, öffentliche Aufführungen oder Ausstellungen einschließlich der PR-Arbeiten zu organisieren. So können sie ihre Kompetenzen und ihre persönliche Identität ausbauen. Die Freiwilligen lernen etwas über das interne Management des Hauses und unserer Organisation und werden in die Kommunikation mit den Künstler*innen, dem Management, den Eltern sowie den Kindern und Jugendlichen einbezogen. Sie werden ihre sozialen, künstlerischen, interkulturellen und sprachlichen Fähigkeiten erweitern. Alle unsere Kurse und Kurse können unsere Freiwilligen kostenlos besuchen, aber hauptsächlich werden sie mit ihren künstlerischen Mentor*innen zusammenarbeiten. Wir ermutigen die Freiwilligen, ein eigenes Projekt mit unseren oder europäischen Jugendlichen zu beginnen. Wir helfen ihnen bei der Organisation, Berechnung und Themenfindung europäischer Projekte. Unsere langfristigen Ziele sind: kulturelle Ereignisse, Lernformen im Theater und Kunstpädagogik zu verstehen. Sie können somit ihre individuellen Kompetenzen während des ESC-Projekts entwickeln.
