Beschreibung der Einrichtung

Zehn Organisationen haben sich im Dezember 1995 zu einem Interessenbündnis zusammengeschlossen. Die Auslandsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. (AGSA) ist inzwischen auf 46 Mitgliedsorganisationen angewachsen, die sich auf folgenden Feldern betätigen: entwicklungspolitische Bildungsarbeit für eine ökologisch und sozial verträgliche nachhaltige Entwicklung in der Einen Welt - Förderung der Verständigung zwischen Menschen unterschiedlicher kultureller, religiöser Herkunft - Unterstützung und Beratung von MigrantInnen sowie politische Lobbyarbeit auf den Gebieten Schutz von Geflüchteten, Zuwanderung und Integration. Seit Mai 1996 ist die AGSA Trägerverein für das einewelt haus Magdeburg. Die Geschäftsstellen von Vereinen und Migrant*innenorganisationen sowie fünf Veranstaltungsräume befinden sich unter dessen Dach. Die AGSA koordiniert die im einewelt haus jährlich stattfindenden 1200 Veranstaltungen von ca. 80 Kooperationspartner'innen. Interkulturelle Begegnungen, Projekttage mit Schüler*innen, Weiterbildungen, Filmveranstaltungen, Diskussionsrunden, Ausstellungen internationaler Kunst, Sprachkurse, Seminare und Vereinstreffen lassen das Haus zu einem Ort lebendigen Miteinanders mit landesweiter Ausstrahlung werden. Die AGSA e.V. richtet seit 1996 jährlich das Eurocamp in Sachsen-Anhalt mit bis zu 50 Jugendlichen aus über 20 europäischen Ländern aus. Die AGSA fördert die internationale und nationale Freiwilligenarbeit. Im Rahmen des Europäischen Freiwilligendienstes entsendet sie seit 2005 Jugendliche in verschiedene Projekte in Europa, betreut europäische Jugendliche in eigenen Aufnahmeprojekten sowie koordiniert und unterstützt den Einsatz von Freiwilligen bei unseren Projektpartnern. Die AGSA engagiert sich in der Kooperation und Vernetzung von Internationaler Jugend - und Freiwilligenarbeit in Sachsen-Anhalt und Europa. Außerdem führt sie im Rahmen dieser Projekte verschiedene Seminare und Trainings zur internationalen Jugendbildung und Projektentwicklung durch. Die AGSA verbindet Kompetenz, Erfahrung und Methodenvielfalt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Haupt- und Ehrenamt, Zivilgesellschaft und Verwaltung, in der Jugend- und Erwachsenenbildung.

Die Arbeitsbereiche der AGSA-Geschäftsstelle unterstützen im Hauptamt
- das Engagement der Mitglieder und ihre Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
- die europapolitische, interkulturelle und internationale Angebote in der Jugend- und Erwachsenenbildung
- die interkulturelle Öffnung in der öffentlichen Verwaltung, in Arbeitsmarktstrukturen und in der Zivilgesellschaft
- kommunale und landesweite Kampagnen wie die Interkulturelle Woche, Europawoche und Internationale Wochen gegen Rassismus
- die zielgruppengerechte Aufbereitung und Weitergabe von Informationen und Beratung

Die AGSA ist Mitglied der Charta der Vielfalt.

Profile, Motivation and Experience
Ten organizations formed an alliance of interests in December 1995. The Auslandsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. (AGSA) has grown to 46 member organizations, which are active in the following fields: development education work for an ecologically and socially acceptable sustainable development in the One World - promotion of understanding between people of different cultural, religious - support and advice for migrants, as well as political lobbying in the areas of protection of refugees, refugee rights protection of refugees, immigration and integration.
AGSA has been the operating association for the einewelt haus Magdeburg since May 1996. The offices of associations and migrant organizations, as well as five event rooms are located under its roof. The AGSA coordinates the annual events held in the einewelt haus. 1200 events of approx. 80 cooperation partners take place in the einewelt haus every year. Intercultural encounters, project days with students, film events, discussions, exhibitions of international art, language courses, seminars and meetings of and club meetings make the house a place of lively togetherness with nationwide appeal.
Since 1996, AGSA e.V. has been organizing the annual Eurocamp in Saxony-Anhalt with up to 50 young people from over 20 European countries. The AGSA promotes international and national voluntary services. Within the framework of the European Voluntary Service, it has been sending young people to various projects in Europe since 2005. European young people in its own host projects, and coordinates and supports the deployment of volunteers with our project partners. The AGSA is committed to the cooperation and networking of international youth - and voluntary service in Saxony-Anhalt and Europe. In addition, within the framework of these projects, it conducts various seminars and trainings for international youth education and project development. The AGSA combines competence, experience and methodological diversity at the interface between full-time work and volunteering, civil society and administration, in youth and adult education.

Support the work areas of the full-time AGSA office:
- the activities of the members and their public relations work
- the European-political, intercultural and international offers in the youth and adult education
- intercultural opening in public administration, in labor market structures and in civil society
- local and regional campaigns such as Intercultural Week, Europe Week and International Weeks against racism
- the target group-oriented preparation and dissemination of information and advice
