Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Centre social Croix Mercier (CSCM) is a non-profit association law1901, located in the town of Alençon in the department of Orne in Normandy. We are located more precisely in the Croix Mercier district.
The Centre social works in the "mouvement éducation populaire" and has three founding values: Human dignity, solidarity and democracy.
In order to better respond to its three values, the social center offers activities and services, project support, and development of citizenship.
Composed of a Family-Adult sector and a Child-Youth sector, we welcome a big variety of people coming from different social, geographical and cultural backgrounds.
We offer activities for all publics (children, teenagers, adults, seniors). The centre social is a place of life for the citizens. We want our users to participate in improving their daily lives by proposing the ideas and participating in different projects. We want to allow everyone to develop their curiosity about the world around them.
The orientations of the social project of the CSCM are centered on the reception, the active participation of the inhabitants as well as cultural openness for everyone. The team has a long experience in supporting young people.
