Kazlu Ruda Kazys Grinius gymnasium is a school providing general education. The school was found in 1946. 300 students age from 14 till 19 attend this school. Kazlu Ruda is the centre of Kazlu Ruda municipality therefore a lot of students commute to gymnasium from other places of municipality. Our vision is to be a modern training school providing qualified education. The main aim is to provide qualified education and training to every student . Our values are responsibility, creativity, respect to each other. The main attention is paid to students' learning and education. A lot of innovations are being introduced into learning process. It is used new teaching methods encouraging students learning motivation, creativity. Our students are active participants of national and international Olympiads and contests. After finishing gymnasium they successfully enter universities and colleges. It is also organized wide after-curricular activities in our gymnasium developing students skills and expertise. According to students needs they can choose from any sport, art, theatrical, musical or other after-curricular activity club. Particularly high attention is paid to students' enterprise and career training, as well as to project-based activities. Our gymnasium has quite good relationship with national and foreign educational institutions. Gymnasium building is renewed. Students learn in a cosy and nice environment. A new modern stadium was equipped in gymnasium yard where different sport competitions are held with students from other Kazlu Ruda municipality schools and institutions.
