Descrição da organização

Ecomission 21-st Century association unites youngsters and citizens from Lovech region who work for sustainable development of the communities in the region for reasonable management of the environment, for effective dialogue with the institutions and the public, increasing the effectiveness of environmental and civic education and awareness of young people. Through its activities, it helps to promote the principles of sustainable development and civil society and creates conditions for the development of young people in Lovech Region.
Aims:
Protecting the human right to live in a favourable environment;Taking actions to restore and improve the quality of the environment, rising the ecological culture, education and training in the methods of protecting natural resources; Encouraging public participation and strengthening links between local groups, schools, businesses and municipal authorities; Stimulating the participation of young people in activities for personal and social development and volunteering; Active work for sustainable democratic social development and promotion of the principles of civil society, activities for social adaptation of marginalized youth communities.
The organization implements projects and campaignsin the field of environmental and civic education, volunteering at a local, regional and European level of young people and interaction with local and regional authorities.
Target groups :children from kindergartens, students,youngsters and citizens
