Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Youth organization “Panonska Inicijativa” (Panonian Initiative) is a nongovernmental, non political, non profitable organization founded for unlimited period in purpose of achieving goals in the area of the youth care and improvement of the life quality and situation of the youth on a local level. Organization was established in August 2005 in Kikinda, Republic of Serbia. The goal of the organization is to educate, publicly represent and enforce capacities of the repository of the democratic social changes using the methodology of the social education and youth work. That way it enforces cooperation between sectors, EU integrations and creation of the public politics with the goal of improvement of the social situation of the youth. In the February 2016 we started a process of change and growth. We work on cooperation with professional associations and other organizations in the country, so as abroad, directly or indirectly dealing with youth work; work on development of the local community, so as on empowerment of the NGO's, business and public sector; work on promotion and protection of human rights; work on organizing leisure time of youth through festivals, camps, youth clubs, workshops, seminars; promotion of voluntarism and voluntary work; encouragement and development of educative, cultural and social exchange in the region; promotion and issuing of publications, research papers, books, etc.; preventing youth discrimination; informing youth on possibilities of employment and self-employment. Work of the organization is public and it is open for all people of good will regardless of the national, religious, sexual or any other ideological orientation. Organization includes more than 60 members, mostly students from universities and students from high schools, youth workers and volunteers, who are experienced in participating and organizing different programs and projects.
