The purpose of this Quality Label is to present our association El Espacio Cooperativo - sede Los Portales, located in the farm of the same name, in the province of Seville, Spain, which is to implement and disseminate sustainable living. "El Espacio Cooperativo" focuses on promoting a lifestyle in harmony with nature, activities for social and ecological change and personal development from the premise that more sustainability implies more connection, more integration, more respect and more cooperation.
Our program includes:
1. Events, conferences and trainings in ecological agriculture, renewable energies, sustainable lifestyles, coexistence and social welfare, sociocracy, bio-construction, soil regeneration techniques and biochar, among others.
2. The promotion of the farm "Los Portales' as:
- demonstration organic farm (vegetable garden in production all year round, organic bread making, herd of goats and sheep, dairy production (cheese, yogurt), olive harvesting and olive oil production, use of local plants for the production of cosmetic products and herbal teas, compost production).
- welcome center for visitors who wish to acquire experience in the lifestyle we are presenting, based on the development of the ability to live together and cooperate.
We are members of RIE (Iberian Ecovillage Network) and GEN (Global Ecovillage Network).
