Thirst for Life Association is a non-governmental organization established in 2005 with the mission to promote social inclusion, protect human rights, and support young people in vulnerable situations. The organization works to build a fair and inclusive society through advocacy, education, prevention, and direct work with disadvantaged groups. Our main goal is to improve the social, health, and cultural prospects of young people and to create a sustainable network for social, legal, and health protection based on respect for human rights and dignity.

“Thirst for Life” implements a wide range of activities, including policy advocacy, harm reduction related to drug use and risky sexual behavior, prevention of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, organization of youth initiatives, trainings, and volunteer programs. The organization actively partners with institutions, schools, and communities to improve access to information, services, and opportunities for young people.

Our target groups are young people aged 15 to 30 from various ethnic and social backgrounds, with a specific focus on the most vulnerable: youth with limited social skills, those demonstrating antisocial or risky sexual behavior, young people in difficult situations, (former) offenders, those who are or have been dependent on drugs or alcohol, as well as young people living in poverty, with low living standards or long-term unemployment.
