Beschreibung der Einrichtung

The motivation of CsF to participate in ESC as HO and SO is to have volunteers from abroad, who would work with children and parents, to teach them and learn from them through informal learning. Some of the aims and objectives of the CsF are to prepare minority children and youngsters with special needs to integrate them into the Romanian society, to play a key role as adults, to develop their musical skills, to learn fluent English and to know and accept easily people from other cultural backgrounds. The CsF participates in the European Solidarity Corps in order to host volunteers from abroad who can have an impact on our projects, and to help them to learn by informal learning, by volunteering at the CsF to know how to deal with children and parents, to find easier a job after returning home, to become grown up persons, aware of their European citizenship and culture. Having volunteers from programme countries for the last twelve years taught us how to accept them, how to integrate them in the local community, to encourage, to teach and help them to learn more about themselves, about the children, the Romanian, Hungarian and Rroma culture, about ESC, Erasmus+, cultural diversity and solidarity among young people. The CsF has the knowledge, the human resources, the capacity and the infrastructure for carrying out the proposed projects. We have experience on local, national and international level to complete our projects, as we did in the last years having several projects funded by the local authorities. Our motivation is stronger than ever during the last 21 years, and our experience developed during all these years. Our staff is young and motivated in non-formal and informal education. We want to take active responsibility in helping children and young volunteers to learn, to find their way in life, to accept each other and to form a better generation. The Csemete Foundation started to receive volunteers since September 2007. During the last twelve years we had volunteers from Austria, Norway, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Ireland, UK, Poland and Estonia for long term projects (11 months). Our current project started on the 01.09.2019. During the last twelve years we hosted volunteers and coordinated EVS and ESC projects almost each year. We started as Coordinating Organisation with one volunteer, and one partner organisation, after a few years we had two volunteers, and two partners, and now we host four volunteers from four different support organisations. As CO we experienced how to work well, how to write a project, how to share responsibilities and duties, how to select volunteers, how to support them, how to maintain permanent contact with the SOs. Since a few years we started to act as Supporting Organisation for young Romanians, who wanted to do a voluntary work abroad. There are organisations throughout Europe with whom we have a good partner relationship for years.
