Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The Sójovem association was founded in 1997 by a group of friends, with the aim of invigorate and support the local community.
Our main focus in the begging was to promote social inclusion through sports. We wanted to create equal opportunities for every youngster and help the most disadvantaged ones.
Nowadays we maintain this objective, but we have new ones and also more ambitious ones. We want to help the most youngsters possible, in our community and in Europe.
Our target group is young people from 16 to 30 years old. However, we also work with children between the ages of 5 and 10, as we will explain in the activities below.
Our regular activities are support in schools, after classes, for children between the ages of 5 and 10; creation of events in the local community; painting workshops; professional training with trainers from the job center; receive volunteers and trainees; sending volunteers; organize soccer tournaments (we even have a football team of the association); partnerships and creation of several projects at European level and, with this, new activities are carried out and created depending on the project that we are promoting.
