Avenir en Heritage is a Non-formal Education Association for citizenship and international solidarity, based in La Rochelle and operating mainly in the department of Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, France.
In accordance with its purpose to build bridges between worlds, Avenir en Heritage also intervenes internationally:
• in Europe through the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ Projects;
• and currently on the African continent: Burkina Faso, Rwanda and Togo.

The goal of building bridges between worlds is not only geographical. It implies a gathering of domains like Citizenship, International Solidarity, Environment, Human Rights, Social Economy and Solidarity, Local and International Actors, Intergenerational dialogue which assembles men and women according to a transversal approach moving out from traditional logics such as the openness to others, empowerment and the right to experimentation. Transversality is one of the founding values of Avenir En Heritage, implemented from the beginning.

Our main public is Youth based at La Rochelle and within the countries the associations works with, European Union and elsewhere. Thus, our public we'll be working in solidarity highlighting cultural differences and similarities between here and there.

Our actions aim to raise-awareness, create and catalyze change on the one hand and to advise and support change actors on the other.
