Établissement public d'enseignement général secondaire, le collège Innovant avec internat Pierre Emmanuel scolarise des élèves de 11 à 15 ans. Il accueille 220 élèves (87 filles pour 133 garçons) dont 60 internes.

Au delà d'être un établissement d'enseignement secondaire, le collège Pierre Emmanuel est un établissement innovant sous plusieurs aspects.

D'une part, nous accueillons des élèves espagnols dans le cadre d'un accord transfrontalier. Ils sont intégrés dans les classes du collège. L'ouverture européenne et l'éducation à la mobilité sont un axe fort de notre projet d'établissement.

Sont aussi accueillis à l'internat des lycéens de plusieurs établissements palois qui viennent en soutien aux collégiens.

Le collège Pierre Emmanuel est un lieu d’éducation et de culture mais aussi un lieu de vie.

En ce qui concerne les méthodes pédagogiques, elles sont variées et basées sur le collectif. Le travail s’organise autour de projets collège motivants et s’appuient sur des activités interdisciplinaires individuelles ou collaboratives. Des outils numériques sont au service de l’élève et de son parcours. Les rapports humains, basés sur la confiance favorisent la créativité.

Au coeur de ce projet, nous mettons en oeuvre une évaluation bienveillante des élèves. En effet, un regard positif encourage et développe la confiance en soi. Les progrès de l’élève doivent être valorisés. L’équipe est attentive, cohérente et coordonnée autour du parcours de l’élève et cherche à s’adapter au rythme de chacun.
Les projets rassemblent des acteurs impliqués et multiples : enseignants, agents, lycéens tuteurs, associations, parents.

Le collège accueille dans ses locaux une structure locale : la CUMAMOVI. C'est en fait un centre de ressources audiovisuelles pour le milieu associatif et scolaire. La proximité de ce partenaire a pour but de donner la possibilité de mener des projets liés à l’image et de tisser des liens avec les partenaires culturels et associatifs du territoire.

Les élèves sont au coeur du projet d'établissement et l'ensemble des équipes est attentif aux besoins individuels des élèves.

The secondary school Pierre Emmanuel is an innovative public secondary school hosting students from 11 to 15. It hosts 220 pupils (87 girls for 133 boys) including 60 boarders.

The secondary school Pierre Emmanuel is much more than a usual school and it is innovative in many ways.

From one hand, we host Spanish students within the frame of a cross-border agreement. They are integrated in the classes of the school. Openness to Europe and education to mobility are strong lines of the project of our school.

We also host in our boarding school students between 16 and 18 who support our pupils.

The secondary school Pierre Emmanuel is a place for education and culture but also a place where to live.

Regarding the teaching methods, they are diverse and based on a collective approach. Work is organised around motivating projects inside the school and are based on cross-disciplinary activities, whether individual or collaborative. Digital tools are at the service of the student and his path. Human relationships, based on trust, encourage creativity.

At the heart of this project, we develop a watchful eye towards the students. Indeed, a positive approach encourages and enables the development of self-confidence. The improvements of the student must be highlighted. The team is careful, coherent and organised around the student’s path and intends to adapt its work depending on the rhythm of each individual.
The projects gather active and diverse stakeholders: teachers, agents, tutors, local associations, teachers…

The school hosts in its premises a local organisation: the CUMAMOVI. It is a resources centre in the audiovisual field for local associations and schools. The proximity of this partner aims at giving the possibility to lead projects related to image and to create links with cultural and associative partners from the local territory.

The students are at the heart of the school’s project and the whole team pays attention to the pupils' individual needs.
