Beschreibung der Einrichtung

The Provincial Federation of People with Physical and Functional Disabilities (ORETANIA CIUDAD REAL) is a Non Governmental Organization funded since 1991. The entity gathers to provincial and local associations, distributed in the entire province (Ciudad Real). We currently represent more than 5000 persons with disability, as a non- lucrative organization aimed to promote social participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Our goal is to promote the participation of persons with disabilities and their involvement on the society.

Our main aim is to unite, form and coordinate the efforts and the activities of provincial entities that work in favour of the people with physical or functional disabilities to defend their rights and improve their quality of life. That's why our statutory purposes and functions are:

• To ensure the Social and Labor inclusion of people with disabilities.
• The promotion and Management of Studies, Programs and Research in relation to the specific situation of people with disabilities.
• The promotion of awareness, coordination and dissemination of the questions of reference for the disability
• As well as any other kind of activity that favors the achievement of the previous points.

In order to achieve this aim, we work with different areas and services: Work Inclusion Service, Special Employment Center and a Residential Care Service, offering work, training and leisure and free time activities.
