Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Vera Cruz Parish Social Center (CSPVC) is a Private Social Solidarity Institution (IPSS) / Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with the status of a Public Utility, Non-Profit Collective Person, constituted in 1971.
The CSPVC ensures, within the scope of its activities, different services, skills and projects aimed at combating various forms of poverty and social exclusion to respond to emerging problems of the local community. Seeking constant support for the community in which it operates, CSPVC develops Support Services for Families and the Community, in favor of development, sustainability, social responsibility and patronage.
The work with the different groups in exclusion or risk of exclusion is carried out in a multidimensional logic, based on a systemic and ecological nature; the objective is a concerted and consistent intervention, promoting inclusion and improvement of competencies and skills.
In CSPVC we believe that a cohesive and motivated team is the best guarantee for carrying out quality work. With safe and welcoming environment and motivating and challenging proposals, with a qualified team, we believe in the continuous improvement of the quality of the services we provide to families and individuals of different backgrounds.
The mission of CSPVC is the promotion of the community's quality of life through innovative responses. While doing it, the aim of CSPVC is to be recognized as a reference IPSS, a pioneer in the implementation of quality educational and social practices in Portugal.

The scope of the quality management system of CSPVC is defined as:
. Providing services for children, young people and their families, in different ways such as daycare, pre-school and
leisure activities center (CATL);
. Offering family support and parental counseling services to families in the municipality of Aveiro, whose children / young
people are at risk of psychosocial risk;
. Empowerment and support of those who need to restructure their life, such as for example women victims of domestic
violence and their minor children;
. Support to refugees and immigrants, both in goods and legally/administrative;
. Providing certified training services, in the national territory, aimed at internal and external assets and assets of
companies and organizations, in the areas of Support Services for Children and Youth and Social Work and Guidance;
. Development of social intervention projects.
There are also the following services available:
. Puro Linho - cleaning, laundry and maintenance service;
. VeraEventos - promotion of events;
. Clube Veritas - Active aging promotion service.
