Beschreibung der Einrichtung

IJSIQ is an organizing, coordinating and sending foundation for international youth exchanges, where young people get to know other cultures and obtain new skills (learning mobility), so they become active European citizens. Culture and sustainability related activities are organized, as well as workshops, meetings, trainings and congresses. Informal and non-formal learning is facilitated in general. Our main activity is to coordinate European volunteering projects for our host organisations. Our aim is to promote inclusion and diversity, promoting People, Planet, Prosperity. This means: to have an environmental focus (e.g. to reduce CO2 and nitrogen emission) and through prevention, promotion and improved health. Another objective is to promote intercultural exchange which will lead to external knowledge exchange, which will lead to nonformal and informal learning and skills development, e.g digital transformation. Our target groups are: European volunteers, children/pupils (less and more advanced, migrants), youngsters, people with a distance to the labour market, elderly people with dementia, and the local, regional, national and international community in general.
