Nursery Planeedi Mudila is one of the fourth nurseries in Tallinn. We have 4 classes and 78 kids in total. Each class has 19 kids and there are average 12-14 kids per day per year. There are 16 people working in the nursery: 8 class teachers, music teacher, physical teacher, head teacher, 4 assistant teachers, janitor and director. There are one teacher and an assistant teacher working with kids at a time. The second teacher helps to conduct morning activities with kids. Every day follows a concrete plan, that also allows a bit of flexibility depending on the needs and situations. Eating is always exactly at the same time. We have many traditions that we celebrate and organise together with parent - grandparents day, autumn's birthday, father's and mother's day, Christmas, fair and cafe nights, graduation party, etc. We have made the nursery safe and fun for kids and employees. We hear a lot of gratitude and contentment form parents in our annual feedback questionnaire. We also have a very nice cooperation and contact with other pre-school institutions in the city and the nursery is part of the Tallinn City Nursery Union. Together with the union, there's a lot of great projects with kids, parent and employees - for example, trainings and excursions. Every academic year ends with a common family day trip to nature.
