ASED Association is an autonomous, non_governmental youth organisation whose main aim is to build a new generation of Tunisian youth with new mentalities and new ways of thinking and this will be achieved through many activities ranging from youth exchanges, seminars, workshops and training sessions on current and sensitive matters that have to do with youth interests. Those activities can offer many opportunities for our participants. In fact, it will give them the ability to integrate into a social building by involving them in our programs.
The European Solidarity Corps aims at engaging the youth in meaningful activities that would help them in their future life either in their daily life or in their work.
To help them do something that will benefit their communities and themselves too.
The projects that are supported by this Union have the main big objectives. Mainly to give the young people the opportunity to socialize, to volunteer, to discover, to help, to learn, to improve skills, to leave a trace in the society, to share the responsibility, to rely on themselves.
By our projects, we aim for the same goals; we want our young people and our volunteers to work together in harmony to make a change in the community. Besides, we want that they learn from each other(culture, languages, traditions..")
We believe that the European volunteers can make the difference, that they are able to encourage our youth and be a model for them to experience those adventures, go through them and take part in the union's projects. They will be inspired to leave their comfort zone and why not start their own projects. and the effect will be more meaningful and significant when they work with the ones with fewer opportunities; they can plant hope in those who don't feel important or able to do something. Especially after our revolution, the youth got demotivated to work or to experience anything new believing that no matter what they do, they are going nowhere.
so we believe in the importance of those projects because they give for the youth another direction, another way to express, to be themselves and to ameliorate.
through our projects, the volunteers will learn how to adapt in their new environment, they will get used to the different language and culture and in this way, they will break boundaries if they are travelling to a different place for the first time.
Our youth are always working with our volunteers and participating in the events and activities together and this would be a great chance for them to tolerate and learn from each other or improve their languages especially English and French.
adding to the social impact that they will leave since during the project there will be workshops for debating , every week a new topic and that is how the youth will exchange ideas and express themselves . or also they can leave a change in the environment for the environmental activities that we have even in their house or the association's place.
Those projects enhance solidarity between people and will teach them how to respect someone who is different and avoid touching their identity or dignity. They will learn how to use the difference in a positive way; to create and suggest new ideas and maybe new projects. By living in a different country they will learn how to respect the rules of that country and understand their culture and mentality.
Everything that the volunteers will gain in the project will follow them because what they will earn now will affect their attitudes, their learning process, their work.
to conclude our association aims at creating a good atmosphere for our local youth and our volunteers, to help them work together and learn from each other through the different activities that it has; activities with kids, with disabled peoples, in youth centres and high school, in the orphanage, in the gardens...
